First off, to our loyal students, we want to thank you for all your support in 2023 and look forward to giving you so much more in 2024!
2023 was a good year, the school reopened after the Covid hiatus and we noticed a surge of interest at HTA Lakeshore in Muay Thai, Jiu-jitsu, Boxing and more. So we brought more instructors in to ensure that the student to instructor ratio was under control. This means better focus on form and technique for our students.
We were shocked that we had just a month to move out from the Ottawa location in Windsor and so we quickly moved to our new location at 1501 Howard Ave. Unit 2.
HTA Lakeshore became known for bringing in the greats like Royce Gracie, Dustin Poirier, and more through our seminars available to members and non-members, ensuring the wealth of knowledge they have was available to all.
Our kickboxing MMA fighter Jaden Major won her very first title during the 2023 IKF flyweight world championship, it was a great experience for Jaden and all the instructors at HTA. She overcame strong competition and we have good plans and high hopes for her in the future. You’ll be seeing more of her at HTA during 2024.
And finally, during the end of 2023 we moved our Lakeshore location just next door from 320 Croft Dr Unit 3, to Unit 1. This move was made with plans to bring some serious changes in our facility that should start in the first quarter of 2024, so stay tuned for those updates!
